Monster unter dem Bett? Für Neals und Paulies Vater sind das Ideen von Kindern. Schließlich kommt Neal gerade aus der Psychiatrie, wo er nach dem Feuertod seiner Mutter jahrelange untergebracht war. Er hatte damals das Haus angezündet, in dem sie starb. Nun sind die beiden Brüder allein im Kampf gegen das Unheimliche. Es lauert unter der Schlafstatt. (TELE 5)

A nicely atmospheric snack and one of the best movies by Steven C. Miller, who in the last couple of years has dragged himself up from the bottom of the pit of beginner filmmakers and now is delivering at least average and watchable stuff. But I still feel that his characters exist in a completely different universe, they behave so weird sometimes. That said, a cautious thumbs up for the monster under the bed.
