An enjoyable and little-known prison horror film from Canada. The story follows a successful lawyer who is falsely accused of murdering his client. He is mercilessly tried and sent to cell 213, but there are dark forces residing there that will play with his mind. The film is more of a thriller with horror overtones, but it has solid craftsmanship, decent performances (Michael Rooker as the warden is a proper sleazebag), the dark atmosphere of the prison works, the suspense pedals along and there's no shortage of twists. For me, nice entertainment. Story 6/10, Atmosphere 7/10, Gore 4/10, Visuals 7/10, Action 4/10, Suspense 7/10, Humor 0/10. Entertainment 7/10. 75%.
