Wallace & Gromit - Unter Schafen

At first glance, this short looks like an ordinary fairy tale for kids, but its detailed plot construction, creative management of the viewer's attention and perfectly condensed plot, which under certain circumstances could cover a feature film, make it an almost unique and inspiring piece of work. The way in which the script generates tension and curiosity, or how it manages to convey crucial plot information briefly and on multiple levels, is truly exemplary. There is no other half-hour animated film that deals the viewer all the essential motivational cards at the beginning, and yet still manages to have them entertained, tense and surprised.
