It’s been a year since I watched a Belgian road movie where a Jewish family decided to travel to Ukraine to bury their grandfather, whom they almost never met, there. Go for Zucker! is a very similar movie with a similar premise and a similar plot, but it’s still absolutely amazing to watch. It has a good pace, you laugh, you even learn something from a world you don’t get to see every day. And it’s all narrated in the current frantic world, where you often wonder whether the believers even have time to worship anymore. It’s a good comedy and Germany again scored with me.
