Behind Bars

Behind Bars earns points thanks to an attractive theme, because as I have written several times, American documentaries are usually not as interesting as analytical studies, as they rather try to sell human stories. Pregnant women behind bars and newborns in a prison environment are indeed emotionally rewarding. Otherwise, there is no reason why a similar topic couldn't be presented in the form of a one-hour film, but why not show more women in the same situation, when it can be sold twice?
