Theresienstadt 1942

A Nazi propaganda film made under control of SS, in which the prisoner Irena Dodalova was given the director’s role following the screenplay concept which she had produced. The shooting of the film took place in October and November 1942 in Theresienstadt, and also partly in Prague. Alongside Dodalova were at least a dozen Jewish prisoners who were obliged to take part in the production work. The camera team consisted of SD men. After the war, the film was considered to be lost and up until today there is still no copy of it. (Huesca International Film Festival)
