Englisch This take on this very popular and famous premise falters formally and it could actually be said that the creators of The Simpsons did a better job with it in one of the Halloween episodes. After being released into the human body, the film unfortunately takes a downward turn and, instead of playing ingeniously with the fantastic setting, it’s ornamented by rather forgettable performances led by Donald Pleasance and the wonderfully beautiful Raquel Welch, who may not be very suited to the scientific world, but is still a joy to the eyes. Englisch I don't know how the audiences reacted to this film when it was made, but I'm not exactly filled with enthusiasm today. And it wasn't just the special effects, which look really lame today because special effects have gone a long way since then. What really bothered me was the weak story. The writers really didn't make much effort, so I was bored by the story all the way through, and I gritted my teeth in silent despair every time the zero module was elevated and lowered. What snapped me out of my boredom was the presence of a Czechoslovakian expert on shrinking army divisions and the fact that a claustrophobe became a member of the submarine crew, but what followed was just an uninteresting journey and I just couldn't be entertained by that. Plus, all the action scenes were filmed in such a way that they lacked any kind of tension, so I can honestly say that I will never take this trip again. The only actually interesting moment was when Proteus was shown from the side, which made me wonder if the resemblance to Me 163 was purely coincidental. / Lesson learned: Beware! If someone ever tells you they want to get inside your head, they might mean it literally. ()

Englisch In this picture, the most appealing thing is definitely how visually interesting it is. A group of scientists and specialists allows themselves to be shrunk in order to bring to life a person who is the only one who knows how to shrink people not just temporarily, but permanently. Traveling through the human body is creatively executed, the tricks are stunning, which simply must be appreciated, as well as the preservation of the real flow of time. ()
