Blessed with good looks, Takano Kyohei, a college student, is always suffering from the unreasonable behaviour of customers who want him and the sexual harassment of his store manager. Because of his hot temper, he loses his head on this occasion and is fired from his part-time job. Then one day, the glamorous owner, Ms Nakahara proposes, "I'll give you free board-and-lodging if you can turn my niece, Sunako, into a lady!" Englisch I enjoyed it many times more than the anime, for me it was just a relaxing dorama and I didn't care that it wasn't based on the manga, indeed I was glad that it wasn't completely and totally faithful. Why not just change it up a bit? That the actors are acting unconvincing, over the top, unbelievable – well, that's part of the story :-) Two of the four bishiki deserve the bishi label, the rest don't X-D Plus, one finally gets to see some of that fire kindling between Sunako and Kyohei, which as a romantic and hormone-overloaded female human being, I can appreciate properly. And what I appreciate most about it is that I wasn't bored. Sure, some scenes are really, really, really far-fetched, but that's kind of typical of the Japanese, right? And the opening theme? I liked it (after all, I listen to jpop), although maybe the title sequence that ran with it was a bit... how to say it... just a bit "that". And if Kazuya would cut his hair, Kyohei's reputation would improve right away... :-D Dorama is more for girls. ()
