Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) ist ein erfolgreicher Unternehmer auf dem Planeten Caprica, Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) ist ein Flüchtling von Tauron, der sich eine erfolgreiche Karriere als Anwalt aufgebaut hat. Als Daniels Tochter Zoe sowie Josephs Frau und Tochter bei einem Anschlag ums Leben kommen, schlägt Daniel Joseph ein Geschäft vor, das beiden helfen soll, ihren Schmerz zu lindern. Er entwickelt den Prototyp eines Roboters, einen Zylon, um seine Tochter darin weiterleben zu lassen. (Syfy)
