Dezember 1936 sorgte für Schlagzeilen. Journalist Wally Stanton (Dustin Hoffman) folgt der Spur der Agatha Christie (Vanessa Redgrave). Einen Tag, nachdem ihr Mann ihr eröffnet, er werde seine Sekretärin Nancy Neele heiraten, verlässt Agatha verstört das Haus. Die Polizei findet ihr Auto in einer Waldschlucht, Agatha jedoch bleibt unauffindbar. (Warner Bros. DE)
