A three-part Never Weaken closes Lloyd's era of making short comedies. The intention behind it was to send Harold again to the good old breathtaking heights. There was a risk, though, that he would repeat himself as it was a third picture of this kind in a row: there was Look Out Below, shot in 1918, and two-years younger High and Dizzy. In Never Weaken, there are some of Lloyd's most hilarious sequences shot in the heights. (Summer Film School)

Dieser Kurzfilm mit Harold Lloyd in der Hauptrolle ist vielleicht weniger eine Komödie als vielmehr eine Hommage an akrobatische Kunststücke in luftiger Höhe. Manchmal war ich wirklich besorgt um Lloyd (oder die Zweitbesetzung), aber am Ende hat er es geschafft und es war ein großartiges Spektakel.
