Die Handlung dreht sich um den Federal Marshal Len Merrick, der den Verbrecher Tim Keith vor Lynchjustiz bewahrt, damit er ihn zu einem Prozess, wo er der Angeklagte ist, bringen kann. A small but good story about a marshal who decides not to let people take justice into their own hands. It works as a western, but what makes it even better is the fact that it works as a story. The point here is good, and even though I don't necessarily need happy endings, here it was quite bearable, although a different ending could have had an even stronger impact.
