Englisch In the mid-19th century, Mexico lost approximately half of its territory in an unfortunate war with the United States, and Mexican society experienced major trauma from its powerful northern neighbor. In recent decades, it seems to be successfully returning in the form of unstoppable penetration of Latinos across the border and rapid changes in the demographic composition of the population. In addition to the 11 million illegal immigrants, there is a huge number of those who have long had citizenship and are quickly gaining positions in American society. This sentimental drama about a Mexican boy who gets lost and soon finds his beloved mother is specifically aimed at them. A major plus is Adrian Alonso, who at his age delivered an incredibly authentic and polished performance. At first, it seems like a very decent and emotionally strong social drama, but over time, it reveals a completely overused pattern seen in Latin American soap operas, with many coincidences and plot twists, and these coincidences in the final third are then an insult to the rational viewer. Overall impression: 45%, although I'm probably unnecessarily sentimental and should slap myself a few times to snap out of it. ()
