Maltazard, der böse M. - jetzt sagenhafte zwei Meter groß - hat sich mit einem schrecklichen Plan unter die Menschen gemischt: er will mit seiner grausamen Armee riesiger Monster die Macht über das ganze Universum erlangen. Nur einer kann ihn aufhalten: Arthur! Doch Arthur lebt als Minimoy in deren Königreich tief unter dem Garten seiner Großeltern. Er muss die Welt der Minimoys verlassen und sich auf die gefährliche Reise ins Haus seiner Großeltern begeben, um das Elixir zu finden, das ihn wieder zum Menschen macht. Natürlich begleiten ihn seine besten Freunde: die schönen Minimoy-Prinzessin Selena und ihr kleiner Bruder Beta. Zu Fuß, mit dem Rad, dem Auto und auf dem Motorrad begeben sich die drei Minimoys auf ihre aufregende Reise durch die Welt der Menschen. Sie nutzen jedes Mittel und brauchen jede Hilfe, um den bösen M. endlich und für immer zu besiegen. (Universum Film)

Englisch The conclusion of the Invisibles trilogy is comparable in quality to the first part and, unlike the second part, it has at least some story, which is a significant shift and a plus point at the same time. Some of the ideas were well thought out, but often the wants to please mainly a younger audience, and therefore it felt infantile here and there. But the final action scenes made up for this shortcoming, and felt believable within reason. A passable (albeit simple) ending to the saga of Arthur and the Invisibles that doesn't impress, but doesn't offend either. ()

Englisch I didn't expect much from the last installment. The second one disappointed me so much that I approached this one with skepticism. If Besson had already waited to see if "Arthur and the Invisibles" would make enough money, couldn't he at least have devoted a little bit of attention to a script that wouldn't be so stupid? When Maltazard enters the human world, it loses its magic, the animation loses its splendor, and it just doesn't fit with Arthur for me. He is still cute like that mischievous little boy. Furthermore, Freddie Highmore has grown up a bit and you can tell. He is no longer a child star, the boy has gone through puberty. One positive thing about the third installment is that the story finally concludes, and I can say with peace of mind that I've seen all the parts. The first one will remain in my memory, the others not at all. It's a shame when you see such an interesting series die with the second part.
