Seit über einem Jahr ist Flynn Carsen Bibliothekar der Metropolitan Public Library und damit Hüter und Bewahrer einiger der größten Schätze und Geheimnisse der Menschheit. Über geheime Kanäle ist Flynn in den Besitz eines Papyrus-Dokuments gelangt, auf dem das Siegel des Königs Salomon abgebildet ist. Der Legende nach hat König Salomon seine wertvollsten Schätze an einem geheimen Ort, König Salomons Minen, versteckt. Der Ort, wo sich diese Minen befinden, sei nur einer Loge von 24 Maurern bekannt, die ihr Geheimnis über Jahrtausende hinweg von Generation zu Generation weitergereicht hätten... (Super RTL)

From the very first movie, I felt like Flynn Carson was a discount Indiana Jones, but one who has a desire to tell adventurous stories mixed with conspiracy theories about anything that has a connection to ancient history. The first movie was okay, but the second one was a load of hogwash. The authors were trying to be funny, but the honest humor was swapped for forced humor, especially since it makes fun of anything that could have at least connected adventure movies like these. And that’s a shame. At that point, it’s no longer an adventure movie, it’s an adventure movie parody and in this case, I didn’t like that at all.
