Most of the time I don't mind it, but here it didn't sit well with me when someone who is not of a given nationality plays that nationality. So I just didn't like Anthony Quinn as the Eskimo, even though he plays him brilliantly. On one hand, it's nice to see the effort to capture their lives, but on the other hand, it still feels like an attempt to please the audience. It could have been a lot grittier.
