A story of the unfulfilled love of two young people. Tomáš, by his nature intensely perceives the schizofrenic times and the narrow-minded people of his small town. He happens to meet Alica, a girl who, involuntarily, has to marry the son of one of the most powerful men in the county. Thus Tomáš is suddenly cast in a battle with Alica’s brothers and the communist mafia - a battle he can never win. (Verleiher-Text)
