Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) ist ein begnadeter Boxer. Doch der Weg zum Ruhm und dem großen Geld blieb ihm immer verwehrt. Als armer Fabrikarbeiter muss er ein schäbiges Dasein fristen.
