Shinichi (Hiroyuki Nagato) belongs to a troupe of traveling actors. When he and his company are unable to pull a crowd in downtown Osaka, they are evicted from the premise. Out of concern, one of Shinichi's college buddies tries to convince him to leave the theatrical world to join his television network, but Shinichi declines the offer. Aside from his passion for performing with the theater, he has another reason why he couldn't leave – He is in love with Chidori (Yoko Minamida), the troupe leader's daughter. (Nikkatsu)
