The film follows the American Lola, who very reluctantly has to travel to Kristiansand - to convince the man she despises more than anyone else to give up an enormous inheritance. Gordon and Roger only have each other, and both well into their forties, they live their lives completely out of step with what is the norm in Kristiansand - in every conceivable way. Firstly, they run the sex shop "Sex & Sånn" in Kvadraturen, across the street from Gordon's old congregation. He has put it right there to annoy family and friends who still attend the church, but refuses to admit this to Roger. Annoying isn't a word Gordon would use either. He wants to free his family.
