Kata is a working woman from the country. She is a widow in her early forties. As a remedy to her loneliness and emptiness, she would like to have a child with her married lover. The man, however, does not want any complications. One day, a girl, escaping from the juvenile correctional institute, seeks shelter at her place. Their relationship is getting to be more and more intimate, sincere and confident. Anna's want of mother and love makes Kata realise that she has to change her life. She helps the girl to get rid of the institute and marry the man she loves. Kata then adopts a little girl from the same institute. (Verleiher-Text)
