The Tuskegee Airmen has a story I wanted to see for a really long time. In comparison to the Red Tails which I’ve watched recently I have to say that although this one is a television movie, it still wins. Its filmmaking is honest, at times maybe too honest. The story tries to stick to the reality tooth and nail and sometimes the movie is a bit boring. On the other hand, the flight combats are flawless and it is apparent that the actors tried their best in making this movie. Three stars for the properly done job and honesty. Nothing more.
