Em is really called Emelie. the film is about the year after her thirteenth birthday party, when her mother had laid the table for a children's party and her friends had brought condoms as presents. One evening Em sees two boys burn down her beloved play-house. Later she sees the boys in the square where she usually meets her friends. She recognises them immediately and falls in love with Jacob. He initiates Em into a new and exciting world, and life is never the same again for her... (Verleiher-Text)
