The serial biography of Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke (1885-1962), famous for the novel "Out of Africa." A routine television show with a slow pace, average acting performances, and diligent set design. Of course, such a series can also be watched as a look into publishing practices, which have always been based on superficial friendships, or as a classic story of a woman ahead of her time. There is something for everyone here.
