Der ehemalige Box-Champion Harry (Kirk Douglas) lebt seit einem Schlaganfall bei einem seiner zweieiigen Zwillingssöhne und dessen Frau. Als Lance (Dan Aykroyd), der Jüngere der Zwillinge, mit seinem jugendlichen Sohn Michael (Corbin Allred) zu Besuch kommt, hat er eigentlich vor, mit dem 82-jährigen Harry über die Möglichkeit einer Unterbringung im Altersheim zu reden. Von Harrys Energie und Enthusiasmus angesteckt, ändern Lance und Michael jedoch kurzerhand den Plan. Anstatt mit Harry über einen geeigneten Alterssitz zu debattieren, fahren sie mit ihm in die Spielerstadt Reno, wo er als Boxer einst große Erfolge feierte... (ARD)
