Die Handlung dreht sich um Jill Banford und Ellen March, zwei Fraune, die versuchen, gemeinsam eine Geflügelfarm zu unterhalten. Bald aber bemerken sie, daß sie Hilfe brauchen. Paul Renfield ist ein netter Kerl und den beiden eine große Hilfe, doch als er Ellen einen Heiratsantrag macht, bemerken die beiden Frauen, daß sie weit mehre füreinander empfinden als das bei Freundinnen üblich ist.
