My Terrorist (2002) (Fernsehfilm)
The subject of a very interesting documentary destroyed in a shallow and pathetic attempt at patriotism. Some interesting themes that life has written in an exciting way, but in this clumsy documentary, they have only a fraction of their emotional power.
To Kill a King (2003)
It's a pity that Oliver Cromwell didn't get more space as the main character of the revolution. With him in the foreground, Mike Barker's unappealing historical costume drama might not have reached the finish line so exhaustedly. Even Rupert Everett, though he plays the king as if his life depends on it (literally), can't help the weaker ending.
Mr. Bean - Fröhliche Weihnachten (1992) (Folge)
The most balanced of all the Mr. Bean movies when it comes to the frequency of the laughs. The conductor, the turkey, the gift – flawless.
Mr. Bean - Mr. Bean reist wieder (1991) (Folge)
The highlight is the scene in the train with extremely contagious laughter. An unforgettable series of gags.
Mr. Bean - Ärger ohne Ende (1991) (Folge)
The moment when I eagerly wait for them to flip the card, that is unforgettable.
The Exciting Escapades of Mr. Bean (1991) (Videokompilation)
My favorite installment ever. For years I studied Rowan Atkinson's brilliant acting In the scene with the girlfriend down to the last gesture.
The Amazing Adventures of Mr. Bean (1991) (Videokompilation)
Der stille Amerikaner (2002)
One of the pieces of evidence that Brendan Fraser should not shy away from serious roles. When combined with the thoughtful Michael Caine, their corrosive jealous chemistry is almost unbearable. If only the object of their conflict in the form of the beautiful Vietnamese woman had been slightly more striking, Phillip Noyce would have a truly masterful work under his belt. However, the atmosphere of mysterious Saigon remains in the heart for a damn long time.
Scary Movie 3.5 (2003)
David Zucker took the reins, brought in Charlie Sheen, and managed at least partially to return the series to where it originally belonged. Into the waters of bearable parody, where I can genuinely laugh. However, the original direction of Keenen Ivory, Shawn, and Marlon Wayans is probably too deeply rooted, because occasionally the same kind of fecal matter resurfaces as it did in the second one, and even the beautiful Anna Faris cannot save it anymore.
Scary Movie (2000)
A truly successful parody thanks to their perfect down to the last murders take on Scream and all the What You Did Last Summer variants, not to mention some flavors of the window from Dawson's Creek. Although there are too many overcooked gags that bring the whole likable madness down to average, it's impossible to forget a few legendary scenes.
