After studying English literature and language and political science in Stockholm, he moved to London where he continued he focused on political science and film theory, also learning poetry and screenwriting. Returning to Sweden, he spent two years at the Stockholm Film School while simultaneously studying political journalism at the Stockholm University. He finally decided to move back to his parents home country after being accepted to the Polish National Film School in Łódz. His first fiction film Pocalunek was screened on film festivals around the world.
