John Bell first appeared on the big screen in Vic Sarin's "A Shine of Rainbows," with Aidan Quinn and Connie Nielsen. Bell won Best Actor for his portrayal of Tomas at the Newport Beach Film Festival, and the movie also garnered awards at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival and the Heartland Film Festival.
