Biografie

He studied Spanish Philology in Murcia and film at the University of Columbia (New York) with a Fulbright scholarship. He directed Ludoterapia (2007), El premio (2011), nominated for the Goya for Best Short Film, and the series of micro-documentaries Conceptos clave del mundo moderno. He moved into the filmic diary with Límites 1ª persona (2009), his first feature was Mapa (2012), which won the Best Documentary Award at Seville in 2012 and was nominated for the Goya. He has collaborated with filmmakers such as Virginia García del Pino or Jorge Caballero working on script and editing. For television he has directed the miniseries Operación Nenúfar: el caso Asunta, Magnolia Award for Best Documentary Series at Shanghai. He also teaches script and direction at the Pompeu Fabra University and the ECAM. Apuntes para una película de atracos premiered at San Sebastian.
