Waris is a popular actor as well as a jewellery designer. He was born in Punjab, India in 1975 and then he went to New York at the age of five, alongside his family. He acted in several important films, Hollywood and otherwise, including The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou directed by Wes Anderson, Inside Man, directed by Spike Lee, and The Darjeeling Limited also directed by Wes Anderson.
