Stephan Apelgren

Stephan Apelgren (1954) is a Swedish screenwriter and director. He graduated in sound studies from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his successful debut with the feature-length children's comedy Sune's Summer (Sunes sommar, 1993). He's been active for many years in television; he's involved in the making of series and films with children's and criminal themes - of which we'll mention, e.g., the series Wallander (2005). He continued with the crime theme with a film about the detective Varg Veum - Consorts of Death (D?dens drabante, 2011) and Black Sheep (Svarte f?r,2011).
