Del Lord was a Canadian-American film director. He began his career as a stuntman and was one of the original Keystone Kops at Mack Sennett's Keystone Studios. Lord later transitioned to directing, helming many popular shorts featuring the Keystone Kops and other comedic stars. In 1935, he joined Columbia Pictures, where he directed numerous comedy shorts, including several for the Three Stooges. Some of his notable works include What Pride Vengeance (1937), Pest from the West (1939), and Idle Roomers (1944).
