All her life, Marianne Mørk has worked with theatre, television and film, mainly as an actress, and has dedicated her entire adult life to visual art. She has written manuscripts for 40 different television programs for children and young people, written and produced full scale musicals for major theatres in Norway, done readings at Boston Playwright Theatre, and directed the short film Light as a Cloud about eating disorders which has contributed to intense debates and is used in teaching in Norwegian hospitals. The last 25 years she has directed close to 50 theatre performances. She has received several awards and prizes, amongst them a culture award in 2012, and the Paul Harris award.
