Declan Donnellan

Donnellan was born in England to Irish parents in 1953, grew up in London and later read English and Law at Queens' College, Cambridge. He was called to the Bar at Middle Temple in 1978. In 1981, he and his partner, Nick Ormerod, formed Cheek by Jowl and he has directed 25 productions for the company.
