Atsushi Wada

He started to direct animated short-films in 2002, interested in the delicacy of movements, minimalism, music of the Nô theater and the concept of Ma (the tension between two movements). His short film, In a Pig’s Eye, won Best Film of the International Selection at the Fantoche Festival and the London International Animation Festival. In 2012, The Great Rabbit won the Silver Bear (Berlinale).
