Emjay Anthony

Emjay Anthony was born to Trisha and Michael Salazar on June 1, 2003 in Clearwater Beach, Florida. After engaging in a rather adventurous early lifestyle, even racing dirt bikes with training wheels, he began modeling and was selected for a national Werther's Candy commercial at the age of four.

At the age of five, Anthony relocated to his parent's home state of California and within the first year he booked the 2009 feature film It's Complicated, which starred Meryl Steep and Alec Baldwin, playing the role of Baldwin's stepson, Pedro. After a short break to focus on schooling, Anthony returned to acting where he booked several national commercials as well as the CBS pilot Applebaum, which starred Rachelle Lafevre and Rhys Coiro, the Fox series Rake, which starred Greg Kinnear and guest starring roles on Grey's Anatomy and The Mentalist.

In 2015, Anthony also appeared in Incarnate, which also starred Aaron Eckhart. Anthony most notably starred as Percy, son to Jon Favreau and Sofía Vergara, in the Favreau written and directed feature Chef. He joined Favreau in 2016 in the Disney film, The Jungle Book, where he will be the voice of Gray.

Anthony more recently appeared in the second installment of Veronica Roth's book series Insurgent, the sequel to Divergent, playing the young soldier, Hector.
