Biografie

Lee Toland Krieger is a 2005 graduate of USC’s School of Cinema and Television. In 2006, Lee directed the one-hour TV drama The Wilton. The show sold to the CW Network after a bidding war.

In 2008, Lee directed THE VICIOUS KIND, from his original screenplay. His mentor through college, Neil LaBute, served as Executive Producer on the film. THE VICIOUS KIND had its world premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and went on to earn two Independent Spirit Award nominations, one for Best Actor (Adam Scott) and another for Best Screenplay. The film also garnered Lee the top honor of the Emerging Filmmaker Award at the 32nd Denver Film Festival, and won best actor for Adam Scott at numerous festivals, including the Strasbourg Film Festival.

Lee has also worked extensively in the commercial and music video space, directing videos for clients like Universal Music and Island Def Jam. In the fall of 2011, he wrote and directed a branded content film starring Andy Samberg for the world-wide launch of CanaryHop.
