Industrial engineer. Having worked in the banking industry until 2004, he decided to devote himself to cinema. In February 2005, he collaborated as first assistant director on the feature film La Influencia (Quincena de los Realizadores, Cannes 2007), by Pedro Aguilera. In 2006 he co-founded in Mexico DC the production company Una Comunión along with the producer Paola Herrera. Their debut Parque Vía, participated in more than 60 festivals worldwide, winning major international awards including the Golden Leopard at Locarno Film Festival and it was considered one of the most outstanding Latin American films of 2008. His second feature Mai morire (2012), has had a major festival tour and was sold to eight countries for commercial display.
