Biografie

Jean-Loup Felicioli (1960) and Alain Gagnol (1967), are French animators, screenwriters and directors working in tandem for many years. Felicioli studied at art schools in Annecy, Strasbourg, Perpignan and Valence, while Gagnol graduated in graphic arts at The Emile Cohl School in Lyon. The two met at the production company Folimage. Together they've made short animated films like The Egoist (L'Egoïste, 1997), The Corridor (Le Couloir, 2005) and Bad Weather (Mauvais temps, 2006). They made their feature film debut with A Cat In Paris (Une Vie de chat, 2010), which was nominated for an Oscar.
