Biografie

Logan Mucha is a Melbourne-based director. He has directed a variety of successful short fiction and documentary films, graduating from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in 2012. He has worked with award-winning production company, @Radical.Media, on their Médecins Sans Frontières documentary in Sydney. His feature debut documentary, East Bloc Love, explored LGBT rights across Eastern Europe, focusing on a small group of activists in Minsk, Belarus. The film had its world premiere at the 2011 San Francisco International Frameline Film Festival and has since screened at numerous festivals and won Best Documentary at the Merlinka Film Festival, Belgrade.  His short documentary Beneath Heaven, won Best Australian Short at the Human Rights and Arts Film Festival 2014.
