Antonin Peretjatko

The French director and screenwriter Antonin Peretjatko comes from Grenoble. During his studies at the Louis-Lumière film school he shot several shorts and was nominated for a César for Best Debut for his first picture The Rendez-Vous of Déjà-Vu.

He had previously won attention for his first documentary Behind Bars, mapping the creation of Jacques Audiard's A Prophet. The making-of film received a French critics' award. He continued his feature work in 2016 with The Law of the Jungle, which combines grotesque humour and social satire.
