Natalie Bronfman

Natalie Bronfman studied and graduated with a postgraduate degree in Art History, Fashion, Costume & Set Design at Parsons School of Design (NYC, USA), and at the Accademia di Costume e Moda (Rome, Italy). After completing her studies, Natalie worked in Rome doing freelance costume work in theatre and opera, eventually moving to Toronto, Canada to work at the Canadian Opera Company. From there, Natalie wanted to branch out on her own and opened an interior design company with both commercial and residential clientele. For one such project, she received an honorable mention from Toronto’s The Design Exchange for the design of a restaurant.

Eventually, Natalie applied at the IATSE Union to commence working again in costume — this time in television and film. After two decades of working on countless projects with top costume designers worldwide and designing some shows of her own, she was given the opportunity to design Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale. Since then, she has designed AppleTV’s SEE and A24 film Dream Scenario, starring Nicolas Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, and Dylan Baker.
