Elizabeth Rocha Salgado

She was born in Brazil at the state of Minas Gerais where she graduated in Radio and Television Communications at the University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. For one and a half year she worked at the radio and as a independent video maker. After making several short movies she decided to study cinema in Amsterdam. In 2006 she graduated at the Dutch Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam with the short documentary Zo is dat (The way it is). She has also directed: Kopzorgen (2003), Diamanda (2004), Le monde et nous (2004-2006) and Deuren Naar De Ziel (2008).
