Biografie

Mandie Fletcher began her career at the BBC and won the Best Comedy Series Award at the BAFTA's for directing the second and third series of 'Blackadder'.

Fletcher's film credits include DEADLY ADVICE starring Jane Horrocks, Brenda Fricker, Imelda Staunton, Jonathon Pryce and Sir John Mills and BORN KICKING, a 90 minute film for BBC's "Screen One", a fairy tale about a female player in a first division soccer team written by Barry Hines.

Fletcher's television credits include 'Harmony' a pilot for Sky starring Joanna Lumley, created and written by Fletcher, the final two part special of 'Miranda', 'Blandings' Series 2, starring Timothy Spall, Jennifer Saunders and Mark Williams, 'In and Out of the Kitchen', 'The Ginge, The Geordie and the Geek', 'Stella', 'Roger and Val Have Just Got In' starring Dawn French and Alfred Molina, 'My So Called Life Sentence', 'An Accidental Farm', a pilot which Fletcher created for the BBC starring Ashley Jensen, 'The Complete Guide To Parenting' Pilot and Series, 'Hamish Macbeth', 'Tales from the Crypt', Desmonds' and 'Only Fools and Horses' to name a few.

Fletcher has previously worked with Saunders directing 'Blandings', three series of 'Jam and Jerusalem' and 'Absolutely Fabulous' for three 20th Anniversary Specials.

In 2011 Fletcher was named Director of the Year by Women In Film and TV.
