Rugile Barzdziukaite

Born in Lithuania, Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė completed a Master’s in documentary at Goldsmiths, University of London and a Bachelor’s in cinematography and theatre direction at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. In her creative work, she focuses on the gap between objective and imagined realities as well as the anthropocentric way of thinking in a playful way. She was one of the three artists who represented Lithuania in the Venice Biennale in 2019.
