Biografie

Born in 1960. He studied in Paris and when he returned to Korea he specialized in screenplay writing. He debuted in 1996 with Crocodile. The Isle (2000) was his first international hit. He won the Silver Bear Award in Berlin with Samaritan Girl (2004) and the FIPRESCI Award in Venice with 3-Iron (2004).
