Soo-il Jeon

He studied in the École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle in Paris and then in the Paris VII and VIII Universities. He is the president of the production company Dong Nyuk Film. At the end of the nineties he directed his first film, Wind Echoing in My Being (1997). The film was released in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. Among Jeon’s filmography stands out With a Girl of Black Soil (2007), released in Venice and winner of the Audience Award in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival.
