Jan Tománek

Jan Tománek (1978) is an animator and director. He studied new media at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. He made his first short film Perpetuum Mobile (1997) by combining computer animation with real actors. His further short film productions include live-action, animated and combined films, e.g., The Hanky (Kapesníček, 1999), Little Red Riding Hood (Červená Karkulka, 2001) and Wake Up (Probuzení, 2003). He made his debut with the feature-length 3-D animated film Goat Story - Old Prague Legends (2008), to which he made the sequel Goat Story 2 (Kozí příběh se sýrem, 2012).
