Tereza Kotyk

The multitalented artist Tereza Kotyk works for the most part in her native Austria and the United Kingdom. She studied history of art, media studies, gender studies and fine arts at numerous universities throughout Europe. At the same time, she attended acting lessons with several renowned teachers. She works as a contemporary art curator, screenwriter and director.

She has made her feature debut with Home is Here, an Austrian-Czech co-production. In her latest picture, she explores existential questions and the inner worlds of her protagonists, Hannah and Max, who regularly appear in her shorts.
